Night Sledding

Description

Travel from Interlaken high into the Swiss Alps, take in the starlit winter panorama and then zip down the 1 hour long sled run. Along the way the trail winds through the woods, crosses alpine meadows and passes majestic frozen waterfalls.  A great combination of winter fun, nature, and Swiss traditions Night Sledding is suitable for everybody.

What's Included:

  • Pick up / drop off from designated locations

What to bring:

  • Warm winter clothing, including gloves, ski pants, jacket, and beanie

  • Warm shoes with a good sole (you use your feet to brake). Hiking boots are recommended.

Requirements:

  • ­Maximum weight 125kg (275lbs.)

  • Minimum age 10 (under 12 only with adult supervision)

Highlights

  • The track is unlit, but you can see well due to the snow

  • You will receive a safety briefing before you begin, and you'll  be led by a guide on the sled track

  • Frequent stops are made to regroup on the way down

  • 4.6km sled track

Itinerary

  • Meet your guide at the OUTDOOR Interlaken Base 

  • Depart to Isenfluh

  • Gondola ride to Sulwald

  • Briefing and instruction

  • Approx 1 hour sled ride

  • Return to Interlaken
