Your Ballenberg experience starts either in Hofstetten, west entrance, or Brienzwiler, east entrance. From there you explore the Ballenberg Open-Air Museum on foot. Discover 109 historic buildings with original furnishings from the time before the motorisation of agriculture and also get up close and personal with our more than 200 farm animals. Craft demonstrations such as cheese making, blacksmithing or bread baking in a wood-fired oven let you experience life in the old days.
